Shaun Dykes, 17, fell from the car-park in Derby city-centre after police negotiators had spent
three hours trying to talk him down.
Shaun is sincerly missed, hundreds of people shed tears for him at his funeral.
The worst thing in life is to lose a friend,
A friend that means the world to you,
A friend that you put all your trust and faith in.
A friend you believe in from the start.
A friends that took the center of your heart.
A friend you'd die for,
A friend you wanted to cherish for a lifetime.

Kids like Shaun have to face taunts and mocking when suffering. We should stop letting this happen, we need to stand up for those who are in pain, we need to intervene in our society and help those in need
The people who did mock need to remember love, and that there are people they love too. If they are in pain do you want them to be in a society that rejects and taunts, or one that embraces and helps.
When you see someone like Shaun who needs help, then help! Make sure you add your voice louder than the evil in society and make it one of kindness and support and love - drown out the evil

i cant say we were close, because we wasnt. But i knew you & i no alot of people who were close to you. I can remember in primary school i always used to see you (: & when i was at secondary school before you left you were always friendly & always gave out a smile (: You were one of them people who was always willing to get on with someone (: you was always happy & friendly; you were loved by so many people its hard to explain. & this story has touched alot of peoples hearts. To hear people were there cheering you on & taking photos it sickens me & to know they are from round derby they should be ashamed. alot of people will miss you & tbh you will never be forgotten - sleep tight babe love you x

Shaun, im writing this for dominic and owen, obviously they cant do it theirselves because they are too young.
Dominic told my mum he is going to miss you now your the biggest star in the sky.
